The overall transformation and quality from Renovation by Burbach looks phenomenal when comparing how the house was before to how it is now. The existing material was starting to rot, paint was peeling off, and other areas seemed like it was starting to fall apart (the house is over 100 years old). Removing some of the old material and replacing the whole exterior with new material, we feel confident that the house will last for many years to come (structurally and aesthetically). There was a line of communication via group text between me and my husband (homeowners), Chris (sales/design consultant), Jason (operations manager), and Jay (project manager/foreman). Jay was quite friendly and understanding while coordinating with us and the installers. Chris was clear on going over everything at the start of the project, any change orders, and any communication all the way until the end of the project. If you are doing a renovation, be aware of any pre-existing conditions that may come up that couldn’t be seen prior to demolition of removing old existing material. Our house had some rotting wood and water damage under some of the exterior materials. There wasn’t enough contingency in the estimate to replace the damaged materials, so it resulted in a change order. It is best if you are as specific as possible and know exactly what you want at the beginning to avoid any change orders. Provide any sketches or drawing layout ideas you may have (send through group text and/or email). When you do a walk through at the start of the project, I recommend to send them a follow-up text or email of any final decisions that were made to confirm any verbal decisions. For our project, there was a misunderstanding about the door trim. We envisioned the door trim to be the full length of the door while they envisioned the trim only running down to the stone sills (most likely a misunderstanding from a verbal miscommunication error). We provided exterior elevation drawings showing that the door trim is the same length as the doors (while window trim only went down to the stone sills). Even though they had to make some adjustments (cutting some of the stone back after it was installed), they honored the style we were looking for. There was a minor issue with a new window (wrong style and it was damaged), but they were able to replace and install a different new window with no hesitations. They took the time to properly fix existing damages, installing waterproof barrier, sealing the holes (from staples), installing lath, water runnoffs, scratch coat, mortar, stone, stucco, aluminium trim (soffit and facia), and James Hardie trim (around doors and windows). Keep in mind, your site project is not their only project (same goes for any renovation company). With that being said, the project took longer than anticipated. It was estimated to take about a month and it took closer to five months. We appreciate that it wasn’t a rush job (we’re not going anywhere seems how we already live in the house) and anyone on site appeared to take pride in their work. However, it would’ve been better if we knew what days they plan / don’t plan on being here (other than just regular weekend off time and possible bad weather) - or at least a weekly update. There were times when there wasn’t anyone here for a few days to a whole week. Other times, there’d be only one person here for a couple of hours. Besides that, there were days where they were here for majority of the day and got a decent amount of work done. Eventually, we plan on building a detached garage and we’d like to have Renovation by Burbach take on the exterior finishes to match the house. We recommend Renovation by Burbach for exterior renovations.

Renovation by Burbach did a fantastic job on the exterior of our home. We love the colors of our siding and trim. They also installed new windows. When two of the windows they ordered were the wrong size, they did a quick turn around to get the right sized ones ordered and delivered to install. Paige, specifically was absolutely amazing. We tried for almost 2 years to get our siding fixed. We tried 3 or 4 different companies and we had no luck. I was about to give up and just cover with tarp. But it made our home look disgusting and like we didn't care. Paige was our saving grace. She came out and looked at our house and seriously within a week, she communicated with our Insurance and got our siding covered. The siding was ordered and took a really long time to get in. But she handled MY frustrations like a champ. I'm so grateful for her and this company for repairing our home. I highly recommend their services. 🤓😊

UPDATED 2024 review: I needed additional stucco repair on my condo, so we called Burbach out to our home again because we had such a great experience with them the first time. They continued to exceed our expectations. They answer the phone when I call, getting our bid was fast, and they completed the work very quickly. The workers were 5 minutes early, very nice, and did exceptional work. I look forward to the next time we need Burbach's help. 2020 review: Our condo HOA said that we needed to repair our stucco. We needed rock removed and replaced with James Hardie board. The guys did an excellent job of removing the rock and inspecting the wood. The Hardie board installation was done and the finished work looks better than we expected. It is excellent. The workers removed all debris and rock and you can’t even tell they were here. Great workers and great company to work with. Their customer service was exceptional.

Six years ago we had our home completely remodeled outside with new James Hardie siding, trim and rain gutters with Dutch Quality Stone with Renovation By Burbach. We love the look and the durability of our exterior renovation! Recently, however, a small section of the black facia came loose on the upstairs roofline, most likely from the wind we have been experiencing. I spoke with Brandon at Renovation by Burbach and he was able to send Luke and Zach to make the necessary repair. He took time to understand our concern and was most helpful. I called on Monday and Brandon was able to adjust schedules and have them here on Wednesday. They were professional, friendly, and extremely careful with a very tall ladder in our front garden area, They quickly secured the facia back in place and also took time to look around the roof gables and repaired a loose shingle. They even removed some accumulated leaves in the rain gutter on the way down. Luke and Zach were awesome! Renovation By Burbach is a first rate, quality contractor. My wife & I could not be more pleased with the complete remodel of the exterior of our home performed by Burbach. From our first contact with Burbach, which was Ryan our sales representative to Brandon our project manager to the actual tradesman who worked on our home to the completion of the project everyone was great. Ryan, Brandon and the Tradesman were genuine in giving us exactly what we wanted for the exterior of our home. In fact, they were so attentive to us and our vision that it felt like they had a personal interest in our home. They installed a completely new exterior on our home, which included the following: *James Hardie Siding, Lap, Batten Board & Shake. *Stucco, all old material was removed down to the OSB Sheeting and then new paper, wire, base coat and color coat were applied. *Soffit & Fascia, which included all of the house, garage and decks. *Rock Work. *Exterior Paint. *Rain Gutters. I couldn't be more pleased with my siding experience with Renovation by Burbach. I got estimates from several companies. Burbach's was competitive and better than a couple. I decided to go with them because of the stellar estimating process I had with Paige. She had a great computer program that probably saved me from making some poor choices in color and trim. The installers, Joe and Mike, obviously had a lot of experience, were efficient and answered all my questions. Overall it was a much better experience than I expected when I started the estimate process. I would definitely recommend Renovation by Burbach.
We had Burbach rip off our old wood siding, install new hardie siding, add new soffit, fascia and gutters. They also painted our whole house. They did everything in a timely manner which is huge when getting remodeling done. The workmanship and attention to detail was on point and they were great to work with. Paige did our bid and was the person we communicated with during the whole process. I loved that she was a female because she was also able to help me make decision on design and colors. Whenever I hire men to do handy work they cannot help me with anything except for the actual labor. Therefore, I felt Paige was an asset not only to the company but to me and all the decisions I had to make. She was also great to communicate with because she always got right back to me and if there was a problem she would resolve the issue promptly. I have never worked with a woman in this line of work and I will literally go back to Burbach for more work if she is still working there. She was the reason everything was expedited with such professionalism. I highly recommend Burbach and most definitely recommend you ask to work with Paige specifically.
We had Burbach come and replace a gutter. The technicians were very friendly and knowledgeable. The customer service was great as well. They came and fixed the problem when they said they would.
Renovation by Burbach did an amazing job with a complete makeover on our bay window with soffit and fascia, and stucco. In the process their “artisan craftsmen” corrected original construction errors from when the home was built 34 years ago. They also repaired the top of our cinderblock wall in the backyard, with new concrete caps, and it looks so clean and sharp – better than ever before. What a great company to work with, and very reasonable pricing that didn’t break the bank. We will use them again when we redo the soffit, fascia, and gutter around the entire home this next year. Renovation by Burbach did an excellent job of repairing my leaking roof. Their work was done promptly and efficiently. The area repaired looks good and is holding up well with all the recent rainfall we have received. The workers were friendly and explained what they were doing to correct the leakage problem. I would recommend them for outside work on your home.
Jaren was excellent. He gave us a fair quote and they completed the work on time. They were very available and easy to ask questions to. They did stucco work, gutter and fascia work for us as well. They all did an excellent job. Would highly recommend them.
My experience was overall excellent. Brad explained and showed us exactly what they would do. The quality of work seems very high and they seem to hit every detail. They did exactly what they said they would do and the price I felt was fair for the work. Whenever we had questions they quickly got back to us and communication was never a problem even when I was out of town the whole time they worked on my home. I could only do the front of my house this time but definitely down the road if I do the back of my house I will be calling on them again. We are very happy with the results and overall great experience working with them. I would recommend.
Brad and the entire team and process went seamlessly. The estimate had no hidden costs and all of the laborers were so nice, professional and hard working. Brad was on the other end of the phone with any questions I had and they were able to easily work with me after I changed my mind on a couple of ideas I had. We shopped around for the right company to finish out our detached garage and we picked Burbach for our Hardy board. The did a fabulous job, priced right and we never had to call and have them fix anything!
We hired Burbach to do a small patch on the back of our home. This was a very small job but, it was extremely time sensitive for us in order to complete a refinance. Steven came out and gave me a bid on the job. They weren't the cheapest but, I was left feeling like they were the most professional and trustworthy. After explaining the time sensitivity regarding the repair, I was assured the job would be done. They exceeded my expectations with their timeliness, professionalism and quality of work. Again, this was a very small job so I don't expect they made much money off it but, I was left feeling like my business mattered to them and the work performed was top notch. We intend to re-stucco our entire home and will definitely use Burbach for future our renovations.
Renovation By Burback just completed an amazing facelift to our home including new Hardie Board, seamless rain-gutter, facia and soffit and painting the remaining stucco with Loxon paint. Brad was great to work with getting things started, Wilbur and Robert did most of the work and they couldn't have been more professional and considerate, while Brandon the project manager ensured the whole project went without a glitch. Burbach's Exteriors installed new soffits, facia, rock columns, windows, and copper raingutters on my 100 year old Tudor home near the University of Utah. It gave my old home a much needed facelift and fixed the problem of moisture near my foundation, and drafts through the old wooden windows. Their work was professional and quick. This company is amazing, Excellent customer service, and they really listened to our needs and concerns which is so important when dealing with our most precious investment, our home.They kept us involved as much as we wanted and They also educated us in the construction process and never kept us in the dark like most companies. It was so hard to find a company that cared about our home as much as we do, But they did.
The entire experience was pleasant. From choosing the siding and getting HOA persmission, and then scheduling the install was super easy. The crew was efficient and tidy, and the end result is perfect. My neighbors have commented--and I told them who did the work. Thank you!
The exterior of our home was dated and had seen better days. The stucco was rotting and we knew something needed to be done but we weren't sure what our options were. From our first meeting with Burbach they were incredibly professional and knowledgeable. They came to our home and walked around the property helping us to visualize what different materials would look like. They even noticed some drainage problems due to a faulty rain gutter joint that they were able to fix as a part of the project. The project crew respected our home and yard during the demolition and construction and even took care to avoid banging near our youngest child's room during nap time (they worked on a different part of the house until we gave them the all clear). At the conclusion of the project our project manager came back and did a final walk through. There were a couple of things he noticed that weren't quite right, and within a day he had a crew back out to our home to fix the issues and finish everything up. I highly recommend Renovation by Burbach! Although their bid was a bit higher than others, they use higher quality materials, which is noticeable. They care about the job and do what they need to do to ensure a happy customer. I would 100% call them for future exterior construction needs.
